Band / Artist

“A tasteful ambiance” easily describes the musical expressions when performed live by the Peacock Alley Jazz Group. The band’s name Peacock Alley refers to the name given to old US Hwy 41 between Dalton and Atlanta during the early 1900's when tufted cotton chenille bedspreads adorned with peacock designs would beckon travelers to stop and purchase them. This early cottage industry led to the birth of the carpet industry and thus Dalton Georgia became the "Carpet Capital of the World".
