The Scarlet Love Conspiracy
We play both kinds of music... rock AND roll!
A lengthy friendship that blossomed into a lasting, loving marriage. A guy taking three blind women to sing karaoke. A friendship born at a Southern Culture on the Skids show. A chance meeting of two single musicians via social media. These were the roots of what would become The Scarlet Love Conspiracy. Two married couples and one child/step kid, all raised on a steady diet of classic rock, country music, heavy metal, and Saturday morning cartoons, TSLC is a family band reminiscent of Fleetwood Mac, but without all the bed-hopping and cocaine.
The easy answer to "What kind of music do they play?" is, of course, rock n' roll, but few things are ever really that simple. From stone-cold country, to southern-tinged tales of betrayal and murderous revenge, to stomping hard rock songs about justice, TSLC covers a lot of sonic territory. Their music is grounded by a thunderous rhythm section, seasoned by lush keys, accented by searing guitars, and topped with soaring harmonies that would make The Little River Band say, "Damn!"
TSLC sounds a lot like five people who love music and each other's company. Give 'em a listen and become a part of the conspiracy.
