Allen Liu
I am a student musician and currently a junior at the McCallie School. An avid violinist, I began my musical studies at age 7 and have won regional and state-level solo performance competitions, have soloed with orchestras, perform chamber music with the Ponticello Trio, am concertmaster and student conductor in my school's coordinate orchestra, and am a two-time member of the National Youth Orchestra 2 program at Carnegie Hall. Additionally, I am the President of the String Theory Youth Initiative, a student-led subsidiary of the renowned String Theory at the Hunter concert series, and through the committee, I organize local arts outreach projects and artist residencies.
