Jeron Devonté

As a first-generation student, Jeron has proven to be a walking success story; achieving his dreams even as life has thrown many curveballs. An alumnus of the Univ. of Tennessee at Chattanooga and the Univ. of Notre Dame, Jeron received his Bachelor of Music in vocal music education and master of vocal performance. Jeron is classically trained in voice and piano and has become an accomplished sopranist. He specializes in performing genres such as jazz, pop and R&B. He has had the opportunity to work with acclaimed faculty artists at the Si parla, Si canta! summer opera program, where he studied the Italian language. He has also sang along side Kathleen Battle in performance. Jeron is a brother of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America as well as the professional fraternity of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated. As a multifaceted musician, Jeron has proven to be a very talented choral conductor and vocal instructor.
