Landis Zehrung

Long time guitar and bass player, able to play in almost any genre proficiently. Locally, I have performed folk, rock, and experimental sets as Landis Zehrung, band leader, guitarist and writer for Blue Reed, bass guitar on Scenic City Roots with Birds With Fleas, lead guitar with Matthew Paul Revere, lead guitar with Pinecone, as well as lead guitar and bass with large improv experiments with members of Buffalo Princess, Praymantha, and Pinecone. With hammered dulcimer proffesional, Christie Burns, I helped create an interactive soundscape for a public art installation in downtown chattanooga. I have also toured with the Eastern Nazarene Gospel Choir and performed with the Eastern Nazarene A Cappella Choir at Carnegie Hall in New York City. I am good at improv, and so so at sight reading but can learn quickly by practice and by ear. I am looking to exponentially expand my musical career in Chattanooga and the southeast region through collaboration and my own music. In addition to performance proficiency, I have connections to book touring bands in local venues and houses. Hire me to share our musical passions.
