Peggy Douglas
Peggy Douglas, Ph.D. is a playwright, performance poet, and musician with various string bands in Chattanooga. In 2014, her play Twisted Roots was produced at the Signal Mountain Arts Center. In 2015, her play, After Work ran at Barking Legs Theater. Her one woman show: An Afternoon with Mother Maybelle Carter was produced on July 10, 2016 at Barking Legs Theater, and her play Deeper Roots ran from April 5-13, 2019 at the Bachman Community Center.
