Kandace LaDiva Carter is a local musical artist born and raised in Chattanooga, TN. At the age of 5, she found her interest for music, singing in the children’s choir at Vision Church of God. As years went by, LaDiva passion for music began to grow even more. Her early musical influences were Soul For Real, Boyz 2 Men, Mariah Carey and many others. In middle and high school, she was apart of two local groups called 5 Deep and Lady Bosses. They participated in many talent shows and summertime events at Hang Time.

After high school, she met her engineer, Carol Woodall, and togetand they began to develop her musical style as a solo artist. She changed her name to Different Diva, to accompany her new image. Different Diva makes her music based on real life issues such as crime, relationships, and uplifting people. With her shining personality and the ability to connect with the audience through her songs, she began to grow a fanbase.
