Redd Daugherty
Redd Daugherty and her band, Redd, are from Knoxville, TN. Redd formed during the pandemic with members Gavin Gregg (mandolin), Katie Adams (upright bass), and Colleen d'Alelio (cello). The band's sound is Appalachian Folk with sprinkles of jazz and bluegrass.
When the band isn't playing gigs, Redd attends open mics and performs solo shows that focus on songwriting and crafting stories.
Redd Daugherty was on season 19 of American Idol placing top 40, and she is a former high school English, journalism, and yearbook teacher. She now focuses on running her music store, Rush's Music, and pursues a career in playing music full time.
