I sing with the Chattanooga Choo Choo Chorus. We are a nonprofit, rehearsing each Thursday and performing 25 times a year, plus offering Christmas Caroling and Valentine's Quartets. We sing a cappella, 4 part harmony, Barbershop style. We have 30 year round members, adding 20 for just the Christmas season.

We sing for free at sporting events, Special Olympics and at the Chattanooga National Cemetary during Memorial Day Weekend and Veterans Day.

We are paid for singing at Rock City, Ruby Falls, Double Tree Hotel, North River Commuinity Center and other venues. We perform at GPS for our Annual Show and, for our Christmas Show, along with the wonderful women's Scenic City Chourus. 2019 was our latest Christmas Show. Singing with the ladies for the last segment promoted beautiful 100 voice, 8 part harmony for the 500 attendees. This resulted in an instantaneous standing ovation from all!

We donate net Christmas proceeds to Candlelighters, a local charity, totaling $13,000 over 3 years.

Now, we are reaching out to the broader community, planning to sing at more venues and expand the Choo Choo Chorus "Brand".

I am a member of our Board of Directors as Marketing VP. We are interested in singing on a Wednesday noon at Miller Plaza and elsewhere.
